Samsung has added new features to its Galaxy Buds lineup. The latest update brings spatial audio support to select models. This feature gives users a more immersive listening experience. Sound now feels like it comes from all around them. The update is rolling out now to compatible devices.

Spatial audio works by tracking head movements. It adjusts sound direction in real time. This creates a theater-like effect even when using earbuds. Samsung says the technology uses advanced algorithms. These help match audio to how the user moves their head.
The feature is available on Galaxy Buds2 Pro and newer models. Users need a Galaxy smartphone running One UI 5.0 or higher. They also need the latest version of the Galaxy Wearable app. Setup takes just a few taps in the app settings.
Samsung first introduced 360 Audio with the Galaxy Buds Pro. The new spatial audio builds on that foundation. It adds better head tracking and smoother sound transitions. The goal is to make music, movies, and calls feel more natural.
Battery life remains unchanged with the update. All existing functions still work as before. Samsung says performance improvements are included too. These help reduce audio lag during video playback.
